Help!!!!! P0700 and P0722
This morning the brake light, anti-lock light and SES light all came on. I think it is stuck in 2nd gear when it will move otherwise it just flashes the shift indicator and won't move. Any ideas what it can be?

Sounds like a output speed sensor, or a harness problem. The p0700 is a MIL request by the TCM and the p0722 is for the output speed sensor.

That is the speed sensor on the transfer case? I have a spare from my old one. Anything else to look for while I am under there?

Thats correct. Also check to make sure your harness hasn't rubbed through anywhere, and there is no damage to the connector

I just changed the sensor and it is just the same. The plug looked ok. Is there any places to look at the wires that would be likely broken?

I found the problem. The wires come from the speed sensor and go into a larger bundle. Another small one goes into the large bundle at the same place. I pulled on those wires and I got about a foot of wire with two ends sticking out.
Now I need to splice them back together. I don't really feel like soldering directly above my face. Is there a better way? Will butt splicers be ok?

Use seom nice shrinkable butt splices. If you dont have them then put some heat shrink tube over a regular butt splice.

I ended up just soldering them. I was able to get off to the side a little.
It is working again.
Thanks for all the replies.
