If that doesn't work out, take it to Fondy's Auto Electric. They should be able to fix it.

well Im stuck because of two snap rings and one bolt.

The spiral snap ring that goes in before the constant snap ring to hold the C4 packs together is being a PITA. I can get it in there but cant get it to stay overlapped on top of itself. I fI could get it to go in right I could have the entire tailhousing together.

And the snap ring that holds the C2 apply piston and C1 springs in, I need to find a way to compress the hub so I can get it out. If I had a way the whole trans would be together and ready to be in the truck.

And something that ruined my day. I was not familiar with the torque wrench I was using and I ended up over tightening a valvebody bolt. The wrench doesnt make a nice high pitch click, it just makes a dull pop. So i have to find a bolt for it and drill out the old broken off piece.

If it werent for those three things I probably could have had the trans in the truck by now.

Ill call Mike L. tomorrow and get some better tools and the bolt. Tomorrow is a nother day. Im calling it a night.

well im in a bad mood now. I was on track to having the trans ready to go into the truck when crack, the rear housing cracked. I guess it wasnt seated properly and bound up while I was compression it down.

Its gonna be a mad rush to make it to my dyno this weekend.

No matter how long it takes Im getting this thing done. i haver to have it ready by saturday morning at 6am.

cross your fingers that nothing breaks and that it all works once its in.
