Default first post

Hi folks. Got a '84 Chevy Blazer with a 6.2. Have some head gasket problems and didn't want to reinvent the wheel. I'm searching for others experiences.

Sorry, I've got combustion gas bubbles in the radiator. I'm guessing (hoping) head gasket.

Welcome.

As far as your question, there is really only one way to check for certain and thats to take the head in question off and look. My brother had a '82 jimmy with a 6.2, at one time it dropped a valve and cracked a piston but no problems with the cooling system. Unless you've run it extremely hot my guess would be the head gasket and not the head itself. Good luck and hope for the best.

Welcome, I'm not experienced with the 6.2/6.5 either, but some here are. You should be getting input soon.
